We are thrilled to introduce the Tuscany Motorcycle Tours Safe Riding School in collaboration with the Scuola Nazionale di Motociclismo «Guida Dinamica Sicura su Strada», the first Italian safe riding academy that since 2005 has formed thousands of safe riders. The philosophy of this experience is to improve your riding skills and prevent dangerous situations through the theory and a logic learning method, all this while you enjoy the beauties of Tuscany, its gastronomy, culture and history hosted in a classic Tuscan stone villa.

The main focus represented by the greatest possible safety is related to each topic, from the «aware» mental attitude that distinguishes the method, to the correct riding position up to the safest trajectory which, without a doubt, has always represented the peculiar characteristic of the method. So before taking into consideration the riding technique, with the question «what does it mean to be a motorcyclist?», the course leads you to reflect on your choice, with the aim of achieving greater awareness.

The course is addressed to all kind of riders, from rookies to experts as the concept is that «you never stop learning«. During the rides, the group will be divided by levels so everyone can improve their riding skills.

This tour has the ambition to offer you the very best experience for improving your riding: the richness of curvy roads of Tuscany, the World famous landscapes of this region, a stay in a fantastic 500 years old stone villa in the heart of Tuscany, the best of the Italian food, the excellent service that we provide for every tour, a 20 years old school method that keeps improving and evolving and all the services included.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW FOR PASSENGERS: Passengers are welcome for this tour but during the 2 days of practice on the road only the rider will be allowed to be on the bike.

For this tour you can choose 4 different motorcycle options:

Type A: Ducati Multistrada V4, BMW R1250GS (or similar)
Type B: Ducati Multistrada V2, BMW F850GS, Moto Guzzi V85 TT (or similar)
Type C: Ducati Scrambler 800, BMW F750GS, Moto Guzzi V7 (or similar)
Your own bike (more than 250 cc)

The tour will be confirmed with at least 6 participants.
In case the number off participants is lower than 10 the villa might change to a smaller one.

We will check the availability for your tour dates and will come back to you with a price quote for your special request. Please note that even if the minimum number of participants won’t be reached by your group, you might still be able to do the tour but with different prices than the standard.

Day 1 - Arrival to the Villa, briefing and welcome dinner

At your arrival to the airport, a private transfer will take you to the villa. You will be assigned your room and we will make the paperwork for the rental bikes. After that, we will get something to drink, make a briefing of the week and then we have the welcome dinner with which we officially start this experience!

Day 2 - First day of school: theory and practice

In the morning we will have the first part of theory of the Academy in the villa. After that we will get into the bikes and go for the first ride. Today we will go the Chianti area, famous for the wine and the views, but for us it’s famous for the turns and good roads. We will all have lunch at a restaurant in the Chianti. After the ride we will fill the bikes and come back to the villa. Dinner at the villa.

Day 3 - Second day of school: theory, videos and practice

Today we will have another session of theory at the villa. Then we will leave for more riding and today we will go to the Val di Cecina area. This area, with very low traffic and nice turns and hairpins, is perfect for practicing what we have been learning. Lunch will be in a restaurant in a town of the area. We will make some videos of the participants that we will then analyse together. In the afternoon, time to relax at the villa and then we will have dinner.

Day 4 - Ride to the Val d'Orcia

This day is a mix of tour and school. We will ride our bikes to a beautiful area with technical roads, the Val d’Orcia, where we will enjoy the beauties of Tuscany while we improve our riding skills. We will visit many interesting places such as Pienza, a fantastic place with one of the best pecorinos of the world, the Abbazia di Sant’Antimo, the wonderful little town of Bagno Vignoni, famous for the thermal waters and for last Montalcino where the «Brunello» wine is from! That night we will have a homemade «pizza party» at the villa.

Day 5 - Day off and wine tasting

This will be a day of rest from the bikes and we will do something different: we will be driven on Mercedes vans to visit a winery in the chianti where we will taste the great wines of the Chianti and have lunch. No worries, we do not have to drive so we can just focus on the wine 😉 We will be back to the villa not too late because today we have our cooking class with an English speaking chef! Obviously our dinner will be the result of our work.

Day 6 - The Triangle of Death

What I (Adrian) call «The Triangle of Death» (that could also be called «The Triangle of Fun«!) is no more than 3 of the most technical, nice, fun, amazing, roads in Tuscany. Get ready for hundreds of turns, one after the other. The asphalt is in great conditions and the traffic is super low so today is the day to prove to ourselves that we did it: we learn the Method! Lunch in a restaurant on the way. In the afternoon, time to relax at the villa and then we will have dinner.

Day 7 - Last day of ride: Cortona

Today will be the last day we enjoy our motorcycles and will have a fantastic ride through the Chianti and Monte San Savino to the amazing town of Cortona (where the movie «Under the Tuscan Sun» takes place). We will visit Cortona and have lunch. A relaxing ride will take us back to the villa to get ready for the delivery of Certificates and the farewell dinner!
